EFTPOS Now Available at SNEL

squareSouthern New England Landcare now offers EFTPOS payments at our office and at our events, making it easier to pay for memberships, merchandise, workshop fees and other purchases.

As long as there is mobile phone service at the event location, we’ll be able to process card payments on site. Cash is still welcome, but card facilities are now available for added convenience.

We look forward to offering a smoother payment option at future events across the region.

NPWS Northern Inland Advisory Committee Postions

npws boundariespostconsultation northerninlandThe NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is seeking applications for appointment to the eight NPWS regional advisory committees for a four-year term, commencing 1 July 2026.

The eight regional advisory committees are:

  1. Blue Mountains
  2. Greater Sydney
  3. Hunter Central Coast
  4. North Coast
  5. Northern Inland
  6. South Coast
  7. Southern Ranges
  8. West

Did you know Southern New England Landcare has an extensive resource library for our members? Each month, we’ll highlight a featured resource — most are free and open to the public.

If you're interested in a resource, you can pick it up from the SNEL office during business hours or have it posted at your expense.

Living with Koalas

Koala Safe Farms Poster FINAL NSW LogoSouthern New England Landcare invites you to support the ‘Living with koalas’ video series, a NSW Koala Strategy initiative sharing real stories from landholders in the Southern Highlands, MidCoast and Northern Tablelands. Each short video highlights practical ways to protect koalas and their habitats while maintaining productive agricultural systems.

You can access the Northern Tablelands video here

We encourage you to help share these stories through your networks to inspire more people to take action for koalas. A stakeholder content pack is available with ready-to-use social media posts, copy, links, and a koala-friendly farm poster to make sharing easy.
