Armidale Tree Group (ATG) urgently requires help from landholders with bushland that potentially contains the seed sources needed to replenish native tube stock for customers.
An increase in rainfall in 2020 has increased demand for native plants. As a result, native plant nurseries are running low on native seed supplies needed for plant propagation.Targeted species include yellow box, red gum, stringybark species and wattle species. However any native bushland may help provide a source for new tube stock.
If you would like to help by allowing seed collection from bushland on your property, please contact ATG or Southern New England Landcare on the contact details below, or simply call into the office during opening hours.
