
This year, RuralBiz is offering the Diploma of Agriculture, delivered online or face to face in Armidale. This opportunity will suit local school leavers or young people (who meet the specific eligibily criteria) with an interest in developing their farm management skills. For those students - it will be fee free!
To be eligible for funding under NSW Smart & Skilled you must be:
* An Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, permanent resident or humanitarian visa holder
* Aged 15 years or older
* No longer at school
* Living or working in NSW
In addition to the above eligibility criteria, to be eligible for FEE FREE training a student must also meet one of the criteria below:
* Be 17-24 years of age, including 2020 Year 12 School Leavers, or
* Be unemployed, or
* Be at risk of unemployment (contact us for more info about this criteria)
The course will be delivered full time (4 days a week) from the training centre at Legacy House in Armidale. Plus it will incorporate weekly farm visits for practical skill development. Click here for details.
