The Rabobank Young Beef Ambassador award is an initiative supported by Beef Australia aimed at recognising young, forward-thinking and high-achieving beef producers, aged between 21 and 35 years old. The Ambassadorship is presented every three years, coinciding with the 2021 Beef Australia in Rockhampton, 2 - 8 May.

Rabobank has supported the award since 2009, providing the winner with a scholarship to participate in the prestigious Farm Managers Program, valued at $5,900.00*. The one-week residential program is designed to strengthen the operational and strategic skills of farm managers, covering global trends in agriculture, business planning, financial management, leadership, and succession planning.
The Young Beef Ambassador awards are a joint initiative between Rabobank and Queensland Country Life, and entrants can either nominate themselves or be nominated by others in the industry. Nominees must be between 21 and 35 years of age, have a minimum of three years on farm experience, be currently working in a successful and progressive farming business, show potential to be a significant leader and contributor to the beef industry, demonstrate commitment and vision for the future of the Australian beef industry, and a profile in 250 words or less. The prestigious award will be announced at the Rabobank Beef Industry Award dinner, a curtain-raising event on Monday 3rd May, at Beef 2021.
