This free field event will start with a morning bird spotting walk followed by presentations from guest speakers, Emily Mowatt and Kristy Peters, from Birdlife Australia.
We will go on bird spotting walk at a place where two Regent Honeyeaters were spotted in October 2019. We will learn about the critically endangered Regent Honeyeater and receive an update on recent conservation efforts. We will also hear about other woodland birds and their habitats, and the importance of mistletoe as a source of nectar.
