The National Landcare Conference attracts delegates from around the world, and from rural, regional and urban communities in Australia - all with a common purpose: a vision to actively restore and protect the environment in their local community through sustainable land management and conservation activities.
Due to COVID-19, some people may not travel to Sydney this year - so Landcare Australia will bring the conference to you! You can register as an in-person delegate attending the conference in Sydney, or as an online delegate (free registration). Early Bird tickets offering a substantial discount for in-person on sale until May 1, 2021.
Hosted by Landcare Champion and ABC TV host, Costa Georgiadis, the 2021 National Landcare Conference program promises to provide inspiring ideas and insights centred on the themes of sustainable agriculture, the impact of landcare activities, the protection and restoration of the environment, climate change mitigation and resilience, and creating community partnerships.
In the lead up to the conference, Landcare Australia will host monthly conference webinars via the online community platform Landcarer. The webinars will provide everyone an opportunity to listen to the many organisations and individuals who have submitted an abstract, and understand how they can apply the learnings to their landcare activities.

The Field Trip program will be announced in April.
The "online event" registration is free. We will live stream and record the sessions, and also publish the posters and abstract papers on our Landcarer platform. During the conference online, delegates will have an opportunity to connect and engage with the with each other to discuss the content.
