Amongst the 2021 Queen's Birthday Honours, Mrs Ruth Blanch was recognised for a quarter of a century of community service in the Armidale district.
Originally hailing from Kentucky, Ruth has been involved with an impressive number of community groups, and at nearly 88 years old, she is showing no sign of slowing up!
Member for Northern Tablelands, Adam Marshall recently presented Ruth with the Premier’s Volunteer Award, celebrating 25 years of volunteering experience for a myriad of community groups across the region. Read the media release here.
