Today Member for Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall has announced a one-off ‘Super Saturday of vaccination’ this Saturday, at the UNE Medical Centre on Butler Street.
- Between 10 am and 3 pm this Saturday (14 August), ANY member of the public over the age of 18 (medical history considered), will be able to walk in to the University of New England Medical Centre, roll up their sleeve and receive their first or second AstraZeneca jab.
- UNE Medical Centre will have a full complement of doctors and nurses on hand, putting as many jabs in arms as they possibly can this Saturday, with vaccine supplies being boosted with a delivery by NSW Health, and providing health advice to those who have questions about vaccines.
- Those who receive a jab this weekend, will be booked in at the UNE Medical Centre for their second dose, in four weeks’ time.
- The Super Saturday Mass Vaccination Hub will operate between 10 am to 3 pm at the UNE Medical Centre, 110 Butler Street, Armidale.
- If you haven’t had the jab and you are considering AstraZeneca, this is a great opportunity.
