Have your say: FRRR is seeking your input to the Heartbeat of Rural Australia study.
They have commissioned this research study to help put some numbers around the critical role of community-based organisations, in sustaining the vitality of remote, rural and regional Australia.
FRRR want to better understand the impacts of recent events, such as bushfires, floods, drought, and COVID-19. Plus they want to identify the factors that are currently affecting the capacity, capability, influence and leadership of our community groups.
The findings will be shared, and the data will help better advocate for the support that community groups need to maintain and grow. FRRR will also use the results to inform governments, philanthropy, and business about the specific needs of community organisations outside metropolitan areas, and to inform their own practice.
Please have your say in this survey. Click here. Rest assured, responses will be anonymous and be aggregated. No comments will be attributed, so please provide as much insight and detail as you can.
There is a communications pack available, including posters and some social media graphics, which may be helpful. Anything you can do to help the FRRR reach a wide range of grassroots organisations would be appreciated.
If you have any questions, please contact their Insights & Learning Manager, James Depasquale or call 1800 170 020.
The results will be shared with participating community groups in November.
