    Land stewardship benefits confirmed

MTaylor wool BTB cover320As one of our local Landcare members, Michael Taylor, owner of Taylor's Run at Kentucky, puts it, he was "A bit stoked by the surprise cover photo with my daughters on the September 2021 edition of our industry magazine, Beyond The Bale."

"Natural capital accounting is powerful measurement tool in showing the world how farmers can actually contribute significantly to carbon and biodiversity markets to reverse climate change through sequestration and restoration or conservation of our natural assets. Our farm is only small but based on conservative detailed modelling from the last 10 years we're net sequesterers of over 212 tonnes of CO2 equivalent annually." Michael said.

"I have to thank everyone involved in not only making the work we do possible on farm but those that have tirelessly helped us document some of the positive changes that have evolved in our landscape over the last 40 years. It gives our future generations a real sense of hope that a difference can be made and it can be a thing of beauty as well as a positive tangible outcome for the business bottom line." he concluded.
