    AURG Working Bee next Sunday

IMG 3087 AURG Tree Planting 320p Date: Sunday, 13th March 2022
Location: Creeklands near Saint Peters Preschool (87 O’Dell St)
    Time: 8.30am

    Weather & ground conditions permitting.

AURG have taken over responsibility for the maintenance of several additional sites along the creekland.  We propose for the 13th March working bee; that we get the St Peters Pre-School site finished ready for planting. This will involve laying down GeoTextile fabric, spreading river rock, and spreading council mulch on the planting site. Plus, if we have a lot of people, we can do some cleaning up further east along the creek.

Work will be mainly cutting and pasting, pulling weeds, whipper snipping and general tidy up.

Details for working bee are as follows.

Location: Assemble near the entrance to the creeklands / footbridge on bicycle track near St Peters Preschool, 87 O’Dell Street.

What to bring: BYO long sleeved shirt, long pants and sturdy boots. Please also bring gloves, broad brim hat and sunscreen.

Covid 19 Reminder. Bear in mind the current requirements for face masks, social distancing and group size whilst working and eating. We will allocate tasks and eating arrangements depending upon numbers.

AURG will provide equipment, morning tea and BBQ lunch prepared by Dumaresq Lions for a Gold Coin Donation.
