Here's a community call out from Armidale Tree Group (ATG).
Help them meet their funding goal of $2,500
Furred or feathered, our local wildlife has had a tough run when it comes to the housing market - it can be tough to find a comfy hollow to raise the kids in!
ATG are hoping to raise enough money to buy 10 state-of-the-art Habitech nest boxes. Developed in consultation with ecologists and ornithologists, these 3D printed homes offer superior thermal protection from heatwaves and cold snaps and have a much longer lifespan than traditional boxes. ATG are about to install some boxes built with funds raised in their previous campaign. Despite the fact that the wages were volunteered, these cost almost as much as the Habitech boxes delivered because of the high cost of marine ply.
The funding goal is $2,500. Any funds over ATG's goal will be used to either purchase more Habitech homes, or assist in planting food and shelter trees for our wildlife.
