Southern New England Landcare has been approached by PhD candidate Chi Le, from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) seeking farmers in the New England to interview as part of a research project into Climate Adaptation Practices.
This project is seeking to understand how local producers like you adapt to climate disruptions and how Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) can support and sustain producer livelihoods and food production.
Chi Le is particularly interested in learning about the resources and information that you find most crucial for managing your land's natural resources effectively in the face of increasing climate challenges.
By participating, you will be contributing to a body of knowledge that aims to better support producers across our region. Your experiences can provide practical examples of NBS and help shape recommendations for other farmers dealing with similar issues.
Participation involves sharing your story and strategies, which can be done through an interview at a time convenient for you. Rest assured, all information shared will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of this research.
If you are interested in participating or would like more information, please feel free to contact Chi Le directly here. We appreciate your input.
Thank you for considering this opportunity. Your knowledge and experience are invaluable, and we encourage you to take part in this meaningful project.
