North Armidale Walking Tracks Tree Planting

WE’RE REnawtgADY TO PLANT SOME TREES AND SHRUBS

The next North Armidale Walking Tracks (NAWT) working bee will be on Sunday 4th May, 9.00 – 12.30

An area at the “Four Ways” has been slashed and cleared of rubbish, and a number of spots dug over ready for planting.

We look forward to seeing as many as possible to celebrate our achievements during this (and past) seasons- especially welcome are those we haven’t seen for a while, and new faces.

Meet at the “Four Ways” about five hundred metres in from the locked gate at the end of Blue Wren Road.

Please note the slightly later start time of 9.00. Morning tea will be around 10.30

For those actively participating in the planting: Please wear… Long sleeved shirt, long trousers, hat, sturdy footwear, gloves.

Bring… sunscreen, water bottle, and a mug for morning tea of course. Tea, coffee, and morning tea will again be available.

You might also want to bring … a friend (to lean on), something to kneel on (or wear knee pads).

Hand tools… If you wish to bring along your own suitable hand tools for planting, please do.

Parking: Park at the gate at the Blue Wren Road gate if there is room. Limited parking will be available at the site, but the track is not suitable for cars with low clearance.

If the site is too wet, an email will be sent on Sunday morning.
