The Southern Australia Livestock Research Council (SALRC) is an independent, Incorporated Association and one of three national research council’s providing recommendations on Research, Development & Adoption (RD&A) in the red meat industry.
The SALRC network encompasses grass-fed beef and sheepmeat producers and R&D professionals throughout Australia.
As part of SALRC’s commitment to building industry and organisational capability, recruitment is now underway for key livestock producer members in south-eastern Australia.
Producer members are eligible to serve a three year term, with positions eligible for re-appointment at the conclusion of their first term.
Working closely with their respective Regional Committee Chair, SALRC Regional Committee Members provide the critical interface between RD&A providers and the needs of red meat livestock producers.
As a beef or sheep meat producer, you will have opportunity to provide advice on MLA levy investments in Research and Development, collaborate with technical experts and contribute to nation-wide programs.
Positions are open for two NNSW grass-fed beef and/or sheep meat producers.
