SALRC Northern NSW Regional Committee Recruitment

Recruitment imageThe Southern Australia Livestock Research Council (SALRC) is an independent, Incorporated Association and one of three national research council’s providing recommendations on Research, Development & Adoption (RD&A) in the red meat industry.

The SALRC network encompasses grass-fed beef and sheepmeat producers and R&D professionals throughout Australia.

As part of SALRC’s commitment to building industry and organisational capability, recruitment is now underway for key livestock producer members in south-eastern Australia.

Producer members are eligible to serve a three year term, with positions eligible for re-appointment at the conclusion of their first term.

Working closely with their respective Regional Committee Chair, SALRC Regional Committee Members provide the critical interface between RD&A providers and the needs of red meat livestock producers.

As a beef or sheep meat producer, you will have opportunity to provide advice on MLA levy investments in Research and Development, collaborate with technical experts and contribute to nation-wide programs.

Positions are open for two NNSW grass-fed beef and/or sheep meat producers.

Please submit an EOI by 22nd September.
