Free On-Farm Days to Launch Regional Impact Groups for producers

HolisticHolistic Management Co-op hosting 8 events across Australia in October and November.

The Holistic Management Co-op is hosting free on-farm field days throughout October and November to launch Regional Impact Groups (RIGs) - an initiative designed to provide a group of like minded people in your region, connecting Australian producers, who want to make improving landscape health and productivity easier.

The On-Farm Days will bring producers together to experience peer learning firsthand along with the value of regional gatherings supporting improved land management and Ag business management.

"Action separates the dreamers from the achievers, we want our Impact Groups to help producers convert what they know, into action, so they achieve what they want " says Helen Lewis, CEO of the Holistic Management Co-op.

"These field days are for producers to share what is possible by learning, doing, and improving alongside other people who also want to make a difference to their Ag business as well."

This initiative responds to a request by producers for more regular connection with likeminded people, to make implementing ideas and new approaches easier, with the support from others trying to make similar changes.

Leisa Porter from Three Gullies Farm says joining the cooperative was transformative.

"Suddenly I wasn't trying to figure it all out on my own – I had a community of farmers who were walking the same path, asking the same questions," Porter said.

"Being part of that community gave me confidence to trust my instincts and also the humility to keep learning."

Regional Impact Groups will bring producers together regularly within their local areas to share experiences, discuss management decisions, and support each other's progress in holistic land management practices.

The Co-op currently works with over 200 landbases covering 900,000 hectares across Australia through its Ecological Outcome Verification program.

Field day dates and locations will be announced on the registration page. Producers can register their interest here.
