The next North Armidale Walking Tracks (NAWT) working bee will be on Sunday 2nd November 8.30 - 12.00 EDST
Please park back from the gate at the end of Arundel Drive North. Take care not to block any driveway entrances. We will set up a base inside the gate.
We will re-commence work in the section of laneway west from Arundel Drive North to the NE Highway. We have done very little work in this section to date, but… It’s Time! If we can clear the storm debris from this section then the Council slasher will be able to mow all the lanes within the locked gate. We may also be able to remove material, previously sprayed, that we cut back in our last working bee before winter set in.
If we have sufficient numbers we can slash the grass around the tree plantings at the Four Ways – it’s growing like Topsy at the moment.
The St John’s Wort has reemerged and it would be helpful to “flag” outbreaks for spot spraying over the coming weeks
We look forward to seeing as many as possible. Especially welcome are those we haven’t seen for a while, and new faces.
Meet at … in from the gate at the end of Arundel Drive North
