Seeking Sheep Industry Stakeholders for Project Engagement

    IMG 3841 1

You are invited to engage in development of technologies that support grazing flock management..

Seeking sheep industry stakeholder input, as part of a project to develop an off-animal technology system that provides an estimate of an individual sheep’s liveweight and fleece weight. The project is co-funded by Meat & Livestock Australia and the Australian Wool Innovation.

To ensure the prototype system being developed is practical and reflects the needs of users, we are looking for sheep producers who would like to engage with the project at a number of key points:

Stage 1: Problem framing for guiding the system design (April 2026)

Stage 2: Early results from the system (September 2026)

Stage 3: Demonstration of the system (June 2027)

For Stage 1, we’re holding a collaborative MS Teams meeting on th

e afternoon of Wednesday 15 April. This session will be an opportunity to share the project’s background and vision, and explore how stakeholders might engage with the system.

Please find attached a Participant Information Sheet that provides more information about what participation would involve, information we would like to collect, how the insights will be shared, and privacy information.

If you have any queries about participation in the activity and/or would like further information, please contact:
