    Linnean Society (NSW) 2026 Symposium - Natural History of the New England Region

    Point Lookout Jeremy J BruhlThe Linnean Society of NSW’s 2026 Symposium entitled, Natural History of the New England Region, will take place 3 - 5 November 2026, University of New England, Armidale, NSW.

                                    CALL for PAPERS

    The Linnean Society of NSW promotes ‘the Cultivation and Study of the Science of Natural History in all its Branches’. It is one of Australia’s oldest, and among its leading scientific societies.

    The focus of the 2026 field symposium will be on the New England region of NSW which, in its broadest definition, includes the high ground of the Northern Tablelands extending north from the Moonbi Ranges to the Queensland border, together with the Northwestern Slopes immediately to the west of the Great Dividing Range.

    The program for the symposium will feature a range of talks and field trips.
