Join us to celebrate World Wetlands Day at Racecourse Lagoon, Uralla from 7am – 11am, Saturday 3rd Feb, 2018.
The day will bring together Racecourse lagoon stewards, Uralla Shire Council, and distinguished wetland ecologist Dr John T Hunter for a morning of activities and BBQ lunch. Participants will have the opportunity to try their hand at identifying wetland plants, naming wetland birds, sampling aquatic invertebrates, and discovering some of the fascinating features of these unique wetlands and how we can conserve them for future generations.
