Do you know what sustainable agriculture means? Do you know what international obligations have been signed by our government? Do you know how this could impact on your farm? Do you want to know what to do to help you meet anticipated future requirements?
If you answered “Not Really” or “No”, then join this conversation!
Jacky is an internationally recognised UNE senior researcher regarding sustainable agriculture and policy. Jacky has been an organic farmer for decades and has helped farmers’ position themselves with their on-farm NRM information.
Jacky’s information is current and confronting as we move into unchartered times regarding sustainable agriculture and the ‘natural capital’ of the farm. There are opportunities for farmers to be ‘business ready’ to respond to requests to demonstrate ‘sustainability’ by the banking sector, governments, multi-national food chains and other markets.
11am-1pm Friday 22nd June 2018 at The Living Classroom, Bingara OR 3pm- 5pm Friday 22nd June 2018 at Upper Horton Sports Club, Cobbadah St.
