Introducing Feral Fighters to the Northern Tablelands

    feral pigs320

Invasive species have no place in our landscape. The economic impact of pest animals is estimated to be $170 million in NSW. This affects all landholders, including livestock, cropping and conservation lands. Pest animals cause significant damage to crops, pastures, trees, natural landscapes and native animals. It is the responsibilityof every landholder to manage pest animals on their land.

Feral Fighters are local landholders who work together in groups to control pest animals. They undertake control programs simultaneously
to cover a wide area which results in better knockdown.

There are plenty of reasons to get involved in Feral Fighters:
    • Better knockdown of feral animals
    • Reduce the spread of feral animals within your area
    • Increase production, crop yields and lambing percentages
    • Protect the environment
