Australian Plant Society Armidale and District Group invites you to their forum meeting "Awakening the sleeping beauties: relieving dormancy and other germination constraints of native seeds" with Dr.Lorena Ruiz Talonia.
Date: Saturday 21st March 2 pm
Venue: ASCA House, corner of Barney and Markham Streets, Armidale.
Lorena has been working in seed ecology of NSW species for the past 7 years at UNE. She leads the research unit at BioBank Seed (Uralla) a part of Fields Enviromental Solutions, a wholesale Native Nursery specialising in revegetation.
The rooms will be open at 2pm giving time to meet and greet before the talk which will start promptly at 2.15pm. Afterwards there will be time to check out the array of currently flowering plants from members’ gardens, join in the raffle of native plants to grow in your garden, and enjoy afternoon tea.
