Building on the success of the autumn wild dog and fox aerial baiting program, Northern Tablelands is planning a spring aerial baiting campaign, starting in early October.
Since 2015/16 Northern Tablelands LLS has ramped up their aerial and ground baiting program as they are more likely to have a significant impact on wild dogs and foxes if a number of control methods are integrated and implemented in coordination with neighbours – on both private and public land. The key to the success of the program is working with landholders through their local wild dog control groups. NT LLS also work with National Parks and Wildlife Service to maximise the impact on wild dogs and foxes.
Get involved in your local wild dog control group by contacting Northern Tablelands LLS on 02 6732 8800 so they can put you in touch with your local wild dog group coordinator.
