Did you visit the SNEL/AURG tent and/or catch the Koala Detection Dog Demo at the recent Black Gully Music Festival? We all had a blast.

If not, here's what you missed. 

 

A big Thank You to the Canines for Wildlife team who brought one of their koala detective dogs to demonstrate how they identify koala habitat. Over 65 festival goers watched on as the spaniel was put through its paces finding koala scat.

Winners were Grinners at BGMF!  Koala Guessing Competition: How many lollies in the jar?    

 

Young koala enthusiast, Patrick, was the winner of our competition. His was the closest answer, and as you can imagine he was very excited to win the jar of lollies. Guessing '333', his entry was one off the actual number in the jar, being 332 gummy bears. 

And last but not least, the locals joined in the spirit of fun & frivolity with SLA's dancing koalas, "Staying Alive" rendition!
