Serving on a not-for-profit board offers numerous benefits, including making a meaningful impact, developing leadership skills, expanding your network, and gaining valuable experience, all while contributing to a cause you care about. 

Southern New England Landcare Ltd is currently seeking up to three additional directors to join their board.

In August 2024, Southern New England Landcare updated their constitution to allow for skills based board membership.

During their annual Strategic Planning Workshop in March 2025, the current board of directors completed a skills matrix exercise and identified some key gaps for which they are now seeking additional skills on the board.

These include: finances/accounting/investment; human resources; legal and compliance; lobbying, and philanthropy.

Directors also wish to increase gender balance on the board, and are keen to hear from women with these skills.

Southern New England Landcare's mission is to lead, connect and enable their communities to reach their sustainability goals in a changing environment. Its vision is for a vibrant, socially and economically healthy community thriving in healthy, productive environments.
