Researchers from Western Sydney University, the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, and the University of Tasmania are seeking landholders across northern NSW to take part in a new study on grassy woodland revegetation.
If you’ve planted native grassy woodland species in wide blocks (30m+) over the past 5 to 30 years, your experience is invaluable.
This research aims to:
- Assess the biodiversity and soil health outcomes of revegetation efforts
- Understand landholder motivations, challenges, and insights
- Develop a practical, cost-effective set of monitoring indicators for ongoing success
You can choose to take part in one, two, or all three parts of the study:
- An online survey
- A 30–40 minute on-farm interview
- An ecological survey of your revegetation and nearby paddocks
