The third annual UNE Orientation Week planting will be held on Friday 1 March.
The event starts at 10:30 am, and will be followed by a free BBQ lunch generously provided by Armidale Dumaresq Lions Club. A key aim of this event is to get students new to Armidale interested in Rivercare and Landcare opportunities!
We are looking for VOLUNTEERS to help operate the event... please, can you help? As a volunteer you would help guide students to plant, weed and mulch (under overall direction and coordination).
There will be an on-site meeting for all volunteers 1pm Tuesday 26 February, to get direction and a feel for the site. We will meet at the goat track bridge. If you need directions or assistance with transport, please specify when you register. It's OK if you can't make Tuesday 26 February. Making Friday 1 March is more important!
