Southern New England Landcare's Pandemic Procedures in Effect

CoronaVirus cdc w9KEokhajKw unsplashOn Monday 16th March 2020, the board of Southern New England Landcare Ltd adopted an Epidemic/Pandemic Policy amidst concerns around the spread of COVID-19.

Southern New England Landcare Ltd hereby gives notice to staff, members, groups, volunteers, clients, and any persons likely to be affected, that our epidemic/pandemic procedures are in effect.

Download the policy and procedures here. We ask that staff, members and friends please become familiar with the procedures and behaviours we need to observe.

Southern New England will also be considering on a continuing basis, whether:

    • events involving staff or members of the public should be changed, rescheduled or cancelled to minimise the risk of infection
    • it is necessary or appropriate for nominated staff/volunteers to work from home
    • staff/volunteer travel, (or other activities that may cause them to come into contact with the virus) should be modified or terminated
    • arrangements for staff/volunteers who work with clients or the public should be modified to minimise risks for all parties
    • we require any member of staff to not attend the workplace, and/or to work from home

Please note all of the above may be subject to change based on recommendations or orders made by State or Federal Government. Please make it your personal responsibility to keep abreast of information provided by the relevant authorities, and share the information as you see fit.

As a small organisation with 4 part time staff members who are often out of the office for work comitments, it may be challenging to keep our office open during our normal business hours (9 am – 3 pm Tuesdays to Thursdays). Please, if you wish to visit our office, call or email first. Our contact details are:

Stay well, and we look forward to the next time we meet!
