Armidale Regional Council (ARC) and Uralla Shire Council (USC) have released a Regional Drought Resilience Plan (2025) and received funding to support landscape rehydration and engagement with landholders in drinking water catchments across both regions.
To deliver the project milestones, including monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, ARC and USC have engaged Southern New England Landcare Ltd (SNEL). SNEL has a long history of working with ARC on similar projects and brings over 30 years of experience in project management and event coordination. As a local community network, SNEL provides services to members across the Uralla, Armidale, Walcha, and parts of the Tamworth Regional Council area, with a large proportion of its membership being landholders.
