Are you interested in giving our koalas a helping hand?
The Northern Tablelands Koala Partnership Project team is hosting this community event for landholders in the Dangarsleigh, Castledoyle, Kelly’s Plains & Arding areas. Armidale Regional Council will also be presenting on the Koala Management Strategy.
Armidale has a significant local Koala population, with over 500 sightings reported since 2016. Southern New England Landcare and Armidale Regional Council are working together to engage landholders in actions to help local koalas survive.
The event will provide information on:
Information about funding opportunities for landholders to plant or fence existing native vegetation on their property, will be available on the day.
The event will be held at the Dangarsleigh Hall from 10am to 12noon, on Saturday 29th May 2021. It will include a free BBQ.
